HCHSAA acknowledges the diverse heritage of our nation’s citizens who are part of the Asian American Pacific Islander community. Representing a broad array of nations from South and Southeast Asia to the Far East and the Pacific Rim, AAPI citizens have contributed much to our nation’s history in fields including science and technology, government, sports, and the arts and entertainment.
While rooted in the culture and history of the United States, many AAPI individuals hold close ties to nations from which their forebears have emigrated. We support and honor those who retain connection to the lands of their ancestors.
