HCHSAA, in collaboration with the American Heart Association (AHA), marked two significant milestones: the 25th anniversary of Go Red and the 100th anniversary of the AHA, by hosting The Heart of Hunter Part I & II. This compelling live presentation focused on the critical and often overlooked issues of heart health and heart disease in women. Featuring insights from esteemed medical experts, Dr. Annabelle S. Volgman ’76, Dr. Nanette K. Wenger ’49, and AHA’s Dr. Stacey Rosen, the discussion highlighted the importance of addressing these vital health concerns that impact so many yet remain under the radar. Both parts of the conversation offered valuable guidance on actions that can be taken to address these significant issues.
