Dear Hunterites,
Welcome to Giving Tuesday! We are excited about kicking off this year’s day of giving. HCHSAA celebrates 50 years of existence this year and we have set our goal today of $50,000!
I joined the Board to help engage our alums in the important work of diversity, equity, and inclusion at Hunter. Working with alums from every generation, we have engaged current Hunter students in creating relationships and initiatives designed to allow alums to serve as speakers, research guides, and mentors to current students, reinforcing their sense of our siblinghood as Hunter graduates. Your participation in Giving Tuesday will help us be there for the current students, because after all, mihi cura futuri (the care of the future is mine).
We want to raise $50,000 or more to continue our work to help HCHS students receive the help they need for transportation, college tours and test prep to name a few. We are also raising funds to allow the AA to continue to provide impactful programming and engagement efforts through events and reunions for our alumnae/i.
Hitting our fundraising goals will help us expand our services to serve you better. Your dollars today show your continued commitment to the AA and the preservation of its legacy for another 50 years.
